Native American beading artist Shauna Zeck is inspired by what is always surrounding her: earth, sky, and water. She honors her Lakota/Delaware heritage by listening to Uncis, the Grandmothers, understanding what it means to be patient and letting her beadwork 'speak'. Her one-of-a-kind hand beaded jewelry is refreshingly unique and vibrantly beautiful. Shauna's beadwork is gaining worldwide popularity. Beyond the U.S. the elaborate designs have caught the attention of collectors in Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, and Denmark.

Self taught in this art form, Shauna studied several different nations of Native American beadwork to learn how to interpret and construct traditional ways of beading. Today her work reflects her earliest studies.

She uses her beadwork to bridge the present to the past. When Shauna works, she often sings traditional Native songs which not only inspire her but act as a tool to help her create.

We are pleased to be able to offer a selection of Shauna's newest creations.

Please feel free to email or call us if you have any questions or would like additional photo's (including close-ups)of any of the pieces.
